Many great things have been happening in Children’s Ministry here at First Pres. I am very excited about an upcoming event for teachers and helpers to attend. On March 17th, Children’s Ministry Magazine Live will be coming to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church to help us create a place where kids want to be so they grow deep in their relationship with Jesus. We will be learning what ten things our kids want most from us and how to deliver, discovering how to remove obstacles that keep kids away, exploring the secrets to effectively partnering with parents, and much, much more. A couple of teachers and helpers and I will be attending this amazing workshop, and we will be sure to bring back a plethora of ideas to First Pres to help our Children’s Ministry take off!
We also have new Nursery staff on board with us. Their names are Amber Tingey and Melinda Sudbury, and they are a delight! I am very grateful they are here. If you have children in the Nursery, make sure to say hello to our new staff!
