Vacation Bible School is coming July 9-13, 2007! The theme for this year’s VBS is “Galilee by the Sea.” More details and a registration form can be found here. The downstairs fellowship hall will be set up to look like a small fishing village, with small shops at which the children will experience some common 1st Century activities. We are seeking donations or loan of items for the fishing village. Here is a partial list: Large clean fishing nets Large pottery jars and baskets Clean sea shells and large beads Hand-cranked carpentry drillsSand paper in coarse and medium grit Clear plastic shoe-boxes with a lidWe also need fresh, nutritious snacks each morning (such as grapes and granola bars). A list of needed items will be posted in the Fellowship Hall by the “Galilee by the Sea” sign-up table, beginning June 3rd.
